BIO
Matthew Goldenberg, a.k.a. 'Axl Rosenberg,' is the co-founder of the popular heavy metal website MetalSucks and the co-author of Hellraisers: A Complete Visual History of Heavy Metal Mayhem (Race Point Press). His work has also been featured on Idolator, Raw Story,
and Noisecreep. A graduate of NYU's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, Matt also co-wrote the screenplay for the award-winning short film, What Cheer?, starring Richard Kind. He launched the film blog Appetite for Deconstruction in 2023. He currently lives in Brooklyn with his neuroses.
